Tab Graveyard.

Close the tabs you never read. Keep a searchable graveyard and a headstone to share.

My work

The browser extension, recovery flow, searchable archive and share card.

Working with

Chrome MV3 · Canvas · two permissions

Inside the build

Saving tabs before closing them.

Context

Closed tabs need to remain searchable and recoverable.

How it works

Each tab is saved before it closes. The archive supports search, individual restoration and a ten-minute undo for a batch.

In the work

The landing page runs the real headstone generator. The extension is distributed as an unpacked Chrome MV3 installation.

Order of operations
Storage precedes closing, so the archive exists before the browser changes.
Recovery
Restore a page from search or undo the entire recent batch.
Permissions
The extension asks for two browser permissions.

Keep exploring.
