Inside the build
Saving tabs before closing them.
Context
Closed tabs need to remain searchable and recoverable.
How it works
Each tab is saved before it closes. The archive supports search, individual restoration and a ten-minute undo for a batch.
In the work
The landing page runs the real headstone generator. The extension is distributed as an unpacked Chrome MV3 installation.
- Order of operations
- Storage precedes closing, so the archive exists before the browser changes.
- Recovery
- Restore a page from search or undo the entire recent batch.
- Permissions
- The extension asks for two browser permissions.
