Inside the build

Sailing physics and multiplayer.

Context

Wind angle affects thrust, while the multiplayer service keeps players in the same sea.

How it works

Point of sail and heading determine thrust and speed toward a mark. The HUD shows relative wind, heel and velocity while you sail.

In the work

Live at saltline.app with accounts, persistent cargo and up to 20 players per sea.
